Dueling Sculptors on CBS11

Well, we’ve hit the big time now I guess… 
Photojournalist, Mike Kenny, did a story on us this past year documenting our “duel”. Wow!!!! We look so FUN!!!! It’s hard to imagine that the film was taped on the 3rd day of a 4 day show at 110 degrees and very high winds. While it looks like Merle (our model) was a set up, in fact he was just a great guy who wandered in at the right time… I don’t think he’d be upset if we mentioned that he is a retired psychologist… I’m pretty sure we were a great study for him that day! Coffee Grinder Closing

So Sad! A 17 year tradition on the square has just collapsed. Our weekend Duel has just ended with the closing of the Grinder… Our many thanks and best wishes go out to Sharon and Mike for providing a wonderful service to the downtown area for so long. We wish you both the best in your future endeavors. Long live GRANITAS!!!!!
For those of you looking for the Dueling Sculptors on any given weekend… we’re expanding our show schedule this year and as always, we’re more than happy to victimize you at our studio upon appointment.
